With a traditional approach to drawing, I depict the encounter between man and his environment. I oppose the mechanical to the organic and I seek to shake up the bucolic of traditional landscape by integrating the traces of human activity. This work is interested in the sustainability of nature and questions our systematic appropriation of the world. The aesthetic of my work is fueled by the complexity of nature, and results in a slow and meticulous process. I explore traditional and digital mediums for the benefit of a figurative and anecdotal art.

 

À travers le véhicule du dessin, je m'intéresse à la rencontre entre l'homme et son environnement. J'oppose le mécanique à l'organique et je cherche à ébranler le bucolique du paysage en y intégrant les traces du clivage humain. Ce travail s'intéresse à la pérennité de la nature et questionne notre appropriation systématique du monde. L'esthétique de mon travail est alimentée par la complexité de la nature, et se traduit par une facture lente, méticuleuse et détaillée. J'explore les médiums traditionnels et numériques au profit d'un art figuratif et anecdotique.
